The Greenland Cup

LETT’s history dates back to 1869. One of our historic treasures is the Greenland Cup.

The Greenland Cup was presented to LETT by the Danish Government in 1932 as a token of its appreciation of the achievements of Supreme Court Attorney Kristian Steglich-Petersen in the so-called East Greenland case. The case related to Norway’s claim on parts of East Greenland and the case was conducted by Mr Steglich-Petersen before the International Court of Justice in The Hague.
