Employment and Labour Law
LETT offers qualified and specialised advice on employment and labour law. We provide assistance especially to businesses, executives and managers, but also to salaried employees as well as other employees, on all aspects of employment and labour law.
Our advice includes negotiating and drafting executive service agreements as well as all other types of employment contracts. Moreover, we advise on option schemes, warrants, bonus schemes and other special pay schemes and on non-competition and non-solicitation clauses as well as any other contractual restraint of trade.
Furthermore, LETT assists in drafting policies regarding employees’ use of company internet and email for private purposes.
LETT advises on the implementation of amendments of existing employment relationships, warnings, termination, dismissal and instant dismissal, including large-scale redundancies.
LETT has special expertise as far as the rules on secondment are concerned. We provide qualified advice to both employers and employees and assist in drafting secondment contracts in connection with the secondment of employees.
We also advise on issues relating to franchising, exclusive distributors and commercial agents.
Our lawyers have wide international experience and also cooperate closely with LETT's other departments on issues relating to the legal rights of employees in the event of business transfers or insolvency and as regards relations to trade unions and collective agreements.
In addition to the advice and assistance indicated, LETT has extensive experience in preparing and conducting legal proceedings before the ordinary Danish courts, Afskedigelsesnævnet (the Danish dismissals tribunal), labour arbitration tribunals and the Danish Labour Court.
