Litigation ranges among LETT’s core practice areas. For a number of years, LETT has specialised in conducting court proceedings. LETT is recommended as a top-of-the-line law firm in Denmark within this field.
In LETT’s opinion, conducting litigation is a separate area of legal expertise. Consequently, LETT has formed a department consisting of attorneys highly experienced in conducting litigation. Most of the partners in LETT have rights of audience before the Danish Supreme Court and have extensive experience in appearing before the Supreme Court.
LETT provides assistance to our clients in cases of contravention of the penalty provisions in Danish private legislation, such as environment law, working environment law and tax law.
Furthermore, LETT’s attorneys have considerable expertise in handling the defence in complex cases of white-collar crime and violation of Danish private legislation. We also assist our clients as defence counsel in criminal proceedings relating to the tax area.
LETT has conducted a very substantial number of lawsuits related to company law, including cases concerning the purchase of companies for tax evasion purposes, which concerned the borderline between legal financing and illegal self-financing.
