LETT provides advice to international groups as well as small and medium-sized businesses on issues relating to intellectual property law and entertainment law. In particular, we provide advice on the rules governing trademarks, domain names, copyright, designs, patents and patent licence agreements as well as on issues relating to marketing or agreements on distribution of TV and radio channels. We assist our clients professionally and competently in connection with disputes before the Danish Copyright Licence Tribunal and the Danish Radio and Television Board and other lawsuits of any kind.

 
In connection with the choice of trademarks by businesses, LETT assists in making trademark searches and registering trademarks. Moreover, we provide advice in administrative opposition and revocation cases before the Danish Patent and Trademark Office.
 
LETT represents clients in lawsuits concerning various trademark disputes, e.g. on confusingly similar trademarks, import of counterfeit products and preservation of evidence. Furthermore, we have assisted businesses in assessing domain name disputes and have conducted cases before the courts as well as the Danish Complaints Board for Domain Names.
 
LETT provides advice on all aspects of marketing, including cases on imitation, non-compliance with fair trading practices, abuse and protection of trade secrets, cases on unfair marketing and the use of personal data for marketing purposes. In addition, we assist in determining whether marketing campaigns comprising e.g. gifts, games and competitions comply with legislation and provide advice in disputes before the Danish Radio and Television Board.
 
LETT is experienced in advising on e.g. agreements on redistribution of TV and radio channels in cable systems as well as disputes before the Danish Copyright License Tribunal and the courts. Finally, we have experience in issues relating to entertainment law, including in conducting cases before the Danish Press Council concerning complaints of the media’s non-compliance with the rules on journalistic ethics.
